Mr. Rodrigo Xavier Leonardo, civil laws professor at the Federal University of the State of Parana - UFPR  – and vice-coordinator of the university’s Post Graduation courses (Master’s Degree, Doctorate and Post-Doctorate), was interviewed by the newspaper Gazeta do Povo about the “Liberty of the Press”.

In the interview, published in a full page of the September, 20th of 2009 edition of the most respected newspaper of the State of Paraná, Mr. Rodrigo Xavier Leonardo warned about the importance of the Liberty of Press for the formation of the public opinion and criticized the previous censorship in which several press organisms are being subjected to in Brazil.
